Forró is a brasilian couple dance. The Forró Community Graz meets on a weekly basis for social dancing. Come and dance with us - No matter if you are beginner or advanced at dancing. You choose your role as leader or follower (or switch). There are no defined gender roles in Forró. You don't need to bring a partner. We are happy to share (an) evening(s) with you. We show you the steps!
About the location:
Spektral is an association which provides "room and open space". For us it's like dancing in a huge living room. We can use the facilities (kitchen, toilets, sofas....). Spektral is a no-shoe area. As Forrozeiros like to dance barfoot, it's the perfect place for us to dance and hang out.
Bring your snacks and drinks (no alcohol please). Feel at home - and so, do the washing up of the things you took from the kitchen and exit the unisex-restroom like your newest crush is going to use the restroom right after you! 🙂

We are a cosmopolitan community. Depending on who is here, we mainly speak German and English, but also Spanish and Portuguese.
