The workshop will be facilitated by Jan from Berlin and Inga from Iceland, both trained directly by Xandy Liberato in the Liberato Method. With over 25 years of experience each in various movement practices, they bring a wealth of expertise and insight to their facilitation. Personal bios below.

LIBERATO DANCE METHOD
Liberato Dance, developed by Xandy Liberato and his team (among them Brenda and Anderson) since 2009, is a body reeducation technique designed to reconnect us with the natural freedom of movement while deepening our connection with dance partners. The method focuses on communication, flow, and sensitivity, encouraging self-awareness and exploration of new physical expressions.
University-Backed Results
In 2020, the University of Valencia’s Social Psychology Department conducted research on Liberato Dance's social and emotional effects. Participants from over 30 countries reported:

ABOUT JAN
Jan is an internationally renowned dance artist and instructor with over 25 years of teaching experience, including more than a decade in Brazilian Zouk. His expertise encompasses somatic movement practices, bodywork, contemporary and modern dance, as well as Capoeira and Brazilian solo dances. As the initiator of Zouk Berlin, co-founder of Dança Alegria e.V., and organizer of major events like the International Zouk Congress Berlin (2010-2012) and the Sensual Summer Festival (2014), Jan has been instrumental in popularizing Zouk in Berlin.
ABOUT INGA
Inga is based in Iceland, where she finds deep inspiration in the wild elements to explore movement as a way to connect with true inner nature. She has over 13 years of experience dancing, teaching and performing Brazilian Zouk. Her passion lies in empowering confidence, self-expression and creativity with the magic of flowy, sensual zouk. With her experience in holistic healing, bodywork, Daoist tantric arts, Inga loves to share awareness of the healing aspects of movement and authentic self-expression. Her dance style is a fusion of primal feminine movement, Brazilian zouk and ritual. "I like to weave dance styles and explore my body's potential and various props, like fans and veils to find new ways to flow”.
